Hawaii State Department of Education

Leadership in Disabilities & Achievement of Hawaii (LDAH)
Leadership in Disabilities & Achievement of Hawaii (LDAH) is the Parent Training and Information Center (PTI) for Hawaii. As the PTI, LDAH supports and educates parents, families, and professionals to meet the needs of children and youth (ages birth through 26) with any disability.
Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC)
The Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC) is the advisory panel in Hawaii that advises the State special education staff regarding the education of all eligible children with disabilities.
Mediation Center of the Pacific (MCP)
The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) encourages parents and schools to collaborate and work together as a united support for each student. When differences arise, mediation provides parents and schools with the opportunity to work out solutions to meet the individual needs of the student, with the assistance of an impartial mediator. Mediation may be requested by either the school or parent through The Mediation Center of the Pacific (MCP).

The U.S. Department of Education issues statutes and regulations to implement the requirements of the IDEA.
IDEA Data Center (IDC)
The IDEA Data Center (IDC) supports states as they work to improve the collection and reporting of their IDEA data and as they analyze and use these data to make programmatic improvements.
Protecting Student Privacy - Privacy Technical Assistance Center (PTAC)
The Privacy Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) is a one-stop resource for education stakeholders to learn about privacy, confidentiality, and security practices related to student-level data systems and other uses of student data.
Center for Integration of IDEA Data (CIID)
The Center for the Integration of IDEA Data (CIID) provides technical assistance to state education agencies to increase the capacity to report high-quality data required under the IDEA Part B Sections 616 and 618.
The Center for IDEA Early Childhood Data Systems (DaSy)
The DaSy Center is a national technical assistance center that works with states to support IDEA early intervention and early childhood special education state programs in building high quality data systems and using data to improve results for young children with disabilities and their families.
Early Childhood Technical Assistance Center (ECTA)
The ECTA Center supports state IDEA Part C and Part B, Section 619 programs in developing high-quality, effective, and sustainable state and local systems, to implement equitable access, services, and supports for children with disabilities and their families that result in positive outcomes not related to race, language, income, or other demographics.
